At The River

This is a mother/daughter collaboration: Sherry MacLean (soprano) and Julieanne Tehan (cello). As folk hymns the arrangements are essentially chamber music for guitar, harp, and solo string instruments. A minimum of two songs use keyboard as accompaniment.

The album title is taken from Track #9, My Shepherd Will Supply My Need, the final stanza of which anticipates heaven as a “settled rest;” “no more a stranger or a guest, but like a child at home.”

Arrangements—Edwin T. Childs
Soprano—Sherry Boushell Maclean
Cello—Julieanne Tehan
Violin—David Bullock
Harp—Kate Cockle
Organ/Piano—H.E. Singley
Guitar—Kevin Smith

Total time: 58 minutes
